02/16/06: With buckshot that shot woulda been possible not with birdshot

Thanks for enlightening me, Hate Boy. I guess most people without hunting experience would have thought the same: that Cheney used buckshot, which could very well have inflicted that much damage to that lawyer.

What use would shotguns otherwise have in armed forces (and especially special forces)?

So most people don't think it unusual that Cheney's friend suffered such wounds at 30 yards - if it were buckshot.

But as you so kindly reminded us, Cheney used birdshot. And that cannot possibly penetrate that deep into a grown, clothed man at 30 yards.

We'll see how Popular Mechanics explains this one!
