Hello, or as you would say Howdy-Ho (that would be on your level)!
This is a posting that is directly signed to the person or the team who is hiding behind Mr. cranky. I do know that you, if you want to have as many surfers as possible watching and using your website, have to aim on the biggest group of people. So thats why you are rating some movies good and some movies bad. But rating this movie bad saying itīs boring with no action, you didnīt understand the movie. See it again, if you have seen it of course. The same thing with "Brother", see it again, find out WHY Kitano is holding the camera for 3 seconds longer than necessery. Why he shows the reaction on his face. There is always a reason for everything. Except why you are rating this movie this bad. It just doesnīt deserve it, as much as this page doesnīt deserve it beeing visited.
Have fun with your happy-end, always the same, good guys - bad guys, moneymaking movies. You would rather see Pearl Harbour than Brother according to your ratings... I donīt think Takeshi is making movies for the money, as he oneīs said in a interview: "This is not work for me. Iīm only trying to find ways to have some fun."
Happy writing, keep on like that, you will have many fans, because many people wonīt even take the chance to see this movie because of you. If I were you I would have a real bad conscience, having such a great influence to the readers of this site.
Iīm aware that there wonīt be many people agreeing to what Iīm saying. But I think, I only wanted to make myself heard and I hope some of you are still going to see this movie, for a change....
