The VIZ English version of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z (two seperate series, but they're really the same story) are excellent. Not only is the translation very good, but the art isn't flipped around backwards (it's still right to left, like in Japan). Also, Fred Perry's "Gold Dogger" (from Antarctic Press)is the best American manga-style comic ever. It's great (I've met Fred, and he did a drawing of one of my comic characters. It was really cool). Also, the Neon Genesis Evangelion manga (also from VIZ) is good (different from the anime, but still good). And MIXXZINE is great (they're running Magical Knight Rayearth, which is by the beyond talented group known as CLAMP).
That's about all the manga I read, but they all have my highest reccomendation.
