Only about 20-25 dollars, with laserdisc quality, and they usually have both widescreen and full-frame formats on the same disc (no more full-frame! Letterbox rules! Yes!). They only downside is that they're reigonally coded, so importing DVD's from Japan will be a bit tricky (I'm used to being able to order Laserdiscs direct from Japan, so this has me a little irritated).
Sucks about your car, I had to do that myself a few months back. Hope it isn't too expensive!
