"kissing butt" can get boring. However, when there are so many impostors and absusive caps locks postings derailing interesting threads, it is kind of reassuring to hear some mutual compliments and pleasantries. When someone says something nice to me, I usually feel like returning the favour.
Anyway, I also wanted to say what was bothering me about this thread more than the useless carping of the Bee in its death throes. It was the way my original comments were received. I said some fairly general things, and because I mentioned a dislike for the word "lady", someone calling themselves "silly petty little girls" decided that I was a revenge seeking vigilante from the planet of the evil man-haters (actually that is only my part time job), in need of some good turn therapy.
Just mention the "f" word and there you go....its scary.
Then, someone who has decided they do not like me has been posting under others names and writing all kinds of angry things. This I can deal with, as I am always willing to listen to criticism. What really annoys me is that my female name seems to give this person(s) the right to infer certain things about my sexual proclivities in the name of this criticism. If I was calling myself Heath, would this person call me a faggot instead? Most probably. This I what I find most pathetic.
Oh well, you can only try to keep this thread interesting, or abandon it for another.
