This film contained: 1. Best characterizations of benevolent aliens trying to adapt to human form and behavior ever. 2. Most tasteful distasteful shot of lead actor's genitalia since Last Tango In Paris. 3. Self-Effacing Attitude honorable mention.
and plenty of laugh-out-louds!
This is my favorite Star Trek movie.
ps... Lost in Space movie was great, too. Definitely overlooked and in need of sequalization.
