Former Nobel Peace Prize winners include:
2005 MOHAMED ELBARADEI (joint winner). His IAEA inspecton teams did a bang up job in Iraq prior to the current conflagration and continue to reign in the Iranian nuclear threat to this day.
2002 JIMMY CARTER JR., former President of the United States of America who has undermined the foreign policy of his own country and vouched for the bona fides of tyrants and murderers all over the world.
2001 KOFI ANNAN, United Nations Secretary General who respectively served as the vehicle for, and presided over, one of the biggest scams in history.
1994 YASSER ARAFAT (joint winner), Chairman of the Executive Committee of the PLO and President of the Palestinian National Authority who was a cold-blooded murderer and terrorist before and after receiving the award.
1992 RIGOBERTA MENCHU TUM, indigenous Guatemalan and author of the testimonial biography 'I, Rigoberta Menchu", a book upon which close examination revealed that it was totally fraudulent.
1988 THE UNITED NATIONS PEACE-KEEPING FORCES, notwithstanding rapes and sex abuse committed by the teams in Kosovo, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea and the Congo, are still doing fine work all over the world.
This year Al Gore nosed out Rush Limbaugh for the prestigious award. Somehow, the Nobel Peace Prize just ain't what it used to be.
