10/12/07: Ickyru, shoule Al Gore have rowed a boat to Europe?

There is a difference between left wing advocacy and left wing extremism you know.

Since the 60's, I've grown quite tired of shrill left-wing extremists taring the standard bearers who aren't far left enough for them. They're nearly as bad as the Hannities and Limbaughs on the other extreme, but not quite.

Other case in point: Cindy Sheehan. Cindy, please shut the fuck up already.

In reading the Peace Prize stories today, I was surprised, and proud, to see that Al Gore played a tremendous, though non-official role in forming the Kyoto Accord.

Ickyru, Don't you wish we were in the process of selecting Al Gore's successor to the presidency right now instead of trying to pick the best candidate to clean up Bush's messes? I know you wouldn't have voted for America's Green Ambassador then because he probably wasn't Green enough for you. Too bad. Politics is after all the art of compromise. Unlike so many on either end of the political spectrum, I have no problem with compromise because I doubt if there's another soul on the planet who shares my views on everything.
