The area named "Five Points" was actually torn down around the turn of the century, mostly the wooden ones ... there were some buildings saved such as those made of brick. If you want to read a good book about the Five Points area I suggest "The Alienist" by Caleb Carr. Although it's a murder mystery there are lots of discriptions about Five Points and what happened to it later.
