If you think that the Civil War was fought over slavery had better go and read real history or change schools ... the Civil War was fought over states rights - period! The slavery issue didn't come up until the Emancipation Proclimation almost two-thirds through the war >and<it really didn't address slavery ... most slaves, those who didn't stay on and keep their masters property going while they were away fought for the south ....
