The star of "Finzi" is one of the most beautiful Italian women ever to appear on screen. She was also prominent in Bertollucci's "Conformist". Not that "Finzi" was such a great movie about what happened to the Jewish bourgeoisie - it was very au courant when it came out, but never as highly rated as Cranky has suggested
Just thought I'd mention that.
