03/03/98: This movie is heavy on hype, low on fact

Ahem. Guanine (G), Cytosine (C), Adenine(A) and Thymidine (T) are nucleotides, not amino acids.

Getting back to the movie, though, it seems that any film-maker who _maybe_ read a page or two from "1984" or "Brave New World" believes that he/she can make valid criticisms regarding the morality of DNA research/manipulation in humans. As a biology student, I found the so-called "serious" issues raised in this movie to be quite ludicrous and completely unrealistic.
