I have to agree that I didn't even come close to truly appreciating FIGHT CLUB until the second time I saw it, and the fucker gets better every time I watch it. The one frame flash of Tyler actually happens three times in the beginning of the picture. Once in the office, once on the street, and somewhere else I can't remember. I'd throw the DVD in and see but I'm watching a DVD of FAIL SAFE right now. Listening to Sydney Lumet's commentary. Very cool indeed.
By the way, for those of you that own the DVD and haven't listened to the commentaries, go do so right now. Commentary 2 is the most entertaining one, having Fincher, Pitt and Norton together and Helena Bonham Carter spliced in. They really give you some incredible insights to the characters and what's going on.
The only thing I haven't I haven't seen mentioned, much less discussed, are the homoerotic overtones of Fight Club itself. Any observations?
