Fight Club is good, but too scattershot to be really effective: the film took all the brilliant but disorganized ideas Chuck had and crystallized them to diamond-clarity.
His best book, though is definitely his second one, called Survivor. I hear they're going to make a movie from that one, too, and I'm very excited (they're going to have to change the title though so no one goes to it expecting assholes on an island fighting for a million bucks): it's got a porn land fill!
