that, to me, the first time the aware-of-the-ending viewer could possibly make the connection that he IS Tyler Durden is when Marla calls him.
Since he gave her that number BEFORE meeting Brad-Pitt- Tyler, that whole operation and location had to have been in place already. Which means he was nuts long before he 'met' BPT on the airplane...
I was surprised, though, at the end - when his 'split- personality' is revealed....that he HADN'T shaved his head...
One more question: When Louis the mob boss comes down there and beats the SHIT out of BPT, how come ENT shows zero effects of this beating the next day? Or was this one of the times I was tending the fire and missed something?
Total agreement with Godmom. This movie gets better and better.
