By the way, I can see why Southerners would want to honor Robert E. Lee. But Jackson? The guy was a fruitcake. Everybody thinks he was this brilliant General, but the truth was his successes came mostly because of his slavish devotion to his orders. If Lee had told him to divide his men in half and have them fight it out until they were all dead, he would've done it without a second thought. You want to honor a Southern officer, what about Longstreet or John Gordon? 'Course Longstreet was from either South Carolina or Louisiana (I can't remember). But I think Gordon was a Virginian. And what about Pickett? If anybody needed honoring, its that poor bastard.
