Still trying to figure out why I said Di's death upstaging Mother Theresa's was unfortunate. Okay, that said, here's the basic problem I have with Mother Theresa. She was extremely pro-life... against abortion and birth control. Yet, she worked with these people who lived in an overly populated society which would have greatly benefited from birth control. Too bad the Church basically told them they would be damned to hell if they used condoms or the pill... and, too bad Mother Theresa went along with the Church. This in the end is Mother Theresa's ONE flaw. And, I personally think it's a big one. She never questioned authority. Yes, I understand she was a Catholic... so am I... and, I still think the Pope is full of shit. I have a problem with a man who lives in such oppulance going to countries where people are wearing rags and can't afford shoes telling them God wants them to produce and multiply... yeah, that's exactly what those people need to do. Plus, why would anyone listen to some guy telling them to breed like rabbits when he isn't getting any himself? I think the Pope has some major issues there... ha, ha. Plus, I find it ironic he's so against gays when he himself is just a big old drag queen travelling the world wearing pretty little dresses and big hats even Cher would have rejected for being too flamboyant and out there!
