03/29/05: Re: Why not a movie about Medger Evers?

I think that this movie was a very good eye opener. I did not relize just how many white in the south today are still racist. If I were Bobby I would have taken the case just as quickly if not sooner. What Bobby did for the Evers family was not only brave but right. He did not have to take Mrs. Evers case but he did and I think we all need to think about each other and not just ourselves. Bobby's son got beat up Bobby was harrased and his family was threatened, but Bobby still fought to throught that awful man in prison where he belongs. It's just too bad that nobody cared enough to take the case before Bobby did.I have so much respect for Bobby and his family and for the Evers family. I feel their pain and want them to know that no matter what this world may bring there are always going to bo some good people just around the corner. Don't look so hard they will come to you.
