The classic James Dean movies, "American graffiti" and "Breaking away". "Ordinary people" probably falls in some sort of family-angst category, just like "Happiness" is one step forward from "Welcome to the doll house", in terms of age procedence.
How about variations in latitudes?: "Mean streets" (well... sort of), Luis Buñuel's "Los olvidados", "The 400 blows", "If...", etc.
And the worst teenage angst movie?... "The beach".
