01/28/01: Roe v. Wade

Ashcroft is against abortion, but he has said that since his job is to enforce federal law, he will enforce Roe v. Wade.

I am pro-choice, but I don't agree with Roe. v. Wade. The 10th amendment says that any power that is not listed in the U.S. Constitutuon is up to the states and/or the people. The word "abortion" does not appear anywhere in the U.S. Constitution.

Also, if the federal government can use the commerce clause to regulate just about everything, as liberals claim, then why is abortion exempted from this?
