Didn't get to go - bummer.
The girl at work who said she'd try to get me a ticket - she really did try. Her "friend" just didn't call her back. That same friend also told her he'd rent out her apartment for Super Bowl. It's in a great location for the partying. She cleaned all week, called him on Wednesday or Thursday and asked when the people were coming, and got no response.
She was even going to let me take her place at the party if her friend couldn't get an "extra" ticket, but he never got in touch with her, and she didn't get to go either.
So I stayed home and baked chocolate chip cookies instead, which was fun too.
