From what I hear, Giovanni Ribisi’s character could have kicked the Giants’ asses too. In The Gift, Ribisi played a psychotic mechanic given to murderous fits of rage. I wish he could bring a little bit of that character to his guest appearances on Friends. Then I might go back to watching it again.
I liked the movie and my wife thought it was just so-so. This film actually turned out to be a nice little thriller, and those type of movies aren’t exactly my wife’s cup of decaffeinated tea. I thought <ducks behind desk> Keanu Reeves did an outstanding job of portraying a wife beating redneck husband. He added much to the film. Billy Bob Thornton co-wrote the screenplay and I’m sorry to say he didn’t play a role in this film. Kate Blanchett was in every scene in this movie and carried it along quite well. She is quite the hottie (My wife didn’t share my opinion on this particular aspect either).
I recommend this film before you get hit with spoilers.
