A lot of movies which are critically praised have backlashes once people see them and decide that they're "overrated" - I'm starting to think that Gigli might have the opposite effect, where people go see it and decide "hey, this isn't as bad as all the critics say it is". Especially since at least some of the criticism seems to be from people who are sick of "Ben & Jen" and are just being as venemous as possible towards the film (I'm not saying that Gigli looks like it's worth seeing, but it doesn't look like the worst movie ever either...)
