maybe you wouldn't find something like that from a major studio, but if you did i don't think it would recieve backlash from the gay community or people with firm support for homosexual rights (like this movie appears to be getting). i sure if you take humanity as a whole you would find tons of examples of people "switching" sexualities. after all there are many people who could be called "polymorphous perverse" or "trysexuals" as they will try anything that is sexual. meaning they will have sex with anything and everything. i forget how mr. cranky puts it, something about how the movie makes it look like people wave their sexuality around willy nilly, when in fact that is something that many people actually do. the idea that people have no choice when it comes to their sexuality is an idea i find ignorant as people can chose to have sex with who and what they want. i do however agree with your post b/c converting a lesbian to heterosexuality is going to look good to many people and is something that will make money. however i absolutely will not agree that lesbians never decided to choose to have sex with men or have relationships with men. that is rediculous.
