Let's see. Has this been done before.
Group of misfits with various extraordinary skills, all on the verge of losing their jobs/breaking the law/trying to prove their coolness, are recruited into a motley crew -- so called best of the best.
Then you get 45 min of background and training footage show how great they are at their specialties, not to mention their witty banter and emerging chemistry -- vomit.
Then the test. Yawn. Army of very bad people, motivated by money, need to be stopped, but WAIT, they are led by an ex-SWAT who has joined the dark side, and he knows all the SWAT tactics and is REALLY ruthless and bad but he was the best of the best at one time, a legend, but kicked off the force.
So a ton of bullets, explosions, rpgs, wild airplane stunts, helicopter crashes, and everything short of nuclear detonation later, and we probably end up with a hand2hand fight between the best of the good & the best of the bad. Zzzzzzzzz. Anybody have a list of similar films? Seven Samuri? Dirty Dozen? US Navy SEALS?
