I don't understand what the big fuss is. I think the movie was a man asskicking movie, which us women don't see that often. It made me want to join the military!
The fact that Demi's breasts arn't real isn't the point. (you men would bitch if they were floppin as she ran on the beach) And maybe not everthing was completely correct.. (I don't know everything there is to know about the Navy )but the movie about a woman in extreme training to join the Navy Seals and possibly be in combat brings up the point women can bust there ass to become one of the guys.. who has great pride for her country and wants to(and has a CHOICE to) serve in one of the best!!!
Now if she was given special treatment through the training men would of been bitching! But instead she took a beating that moved me.. she was giving a CHOICE to prove herself and that is what she did!!!! Us women are not even giving the CHOICE to prove ourselves!!
She stood up for herself and made herself an equal. Most movies these days are about women being spine less whimps, who wouldn't stand up for themselves, their family, or children, who has to be with her man because she feels worthless without him, who gets knocked up, or someone who is always one step behind the man in the movie.. etc..
So as a woman.. I loved it.. this is a good change in entertainment if you ask me.
And for once.. a woman didn't drop her panties for a man!!!
