1) So, did you get Monday off? Nope, but I do have tomorrow off. I used to have a digital devices laboratory to attend, but I thought I'd better spend my time dropping that class.
2) What did you do over the weekend? I got mightily hammered at the Pike house and saw a few people that I haven't seen in years and we all had a loud, empty social experience. The Chivas was good. I wrote a program and did a lot of calculus problems.
3) See any cool movies? I rented the Arrival DVD. I thought that I had seen it before and seemed to remember it as being ok, and it was ok, but not much more. As a "bonus", the other side of the disc had the arrival "ii", which was fucking trash - the whole thing. It had some asshole from daytime soap operas trying to play a computer genius that could understand alien computer terminals "because there's never been a computer program he couldn't crack." His love interest was some moron "reporter" that spoke into a tape recorder while other people were talking, and when they looked at her as if to say "would you please shut the bloody fuck up," she said "but I'm a reporter!" and all the fuckfaces acted like that was a good enough reason. That movie was so goddamn bad. "There's never been a computer program I couldn't crack." Fucking filth.
4) Read any cool books? I flipped through my Linux System Administrator's Survival Guide and my Esperanto dictionary, and I caught up on my Pokey Little Puppy.
5) Go anywhere interesting? The bar.
6) What was your opinion of Columbus when you were little? I saw a fluffy man in fluffy clothes, pointing towards the horizon.
7) And now what do you think of him? I think that he is the greatest man ever to claim this land for Spain.
8) And finally, what ship was the best, the Nina, Pinta, or Santa Maria? I would say the Santa Maria, if it wasn't for the Good Ship Lollipop. I'm biased, you see.
