07/16/00: I thought the first 45 minutes were corrosively boring

All that politicking when all anybody in the theatre wanted to see was men in skirts chopping the bejaysus out of other guys.

The film looked great, par for the course for a Ridley Scott movie but they wasted too much time setting up everything.
