03/09/00: Well, don't we feel special.

I for one, have to disagree with Cranky on this one. Steven Segal shows a range of emotions in this film, and It is obvious that the director is making a serious statement with his film. For instance, the one scene where Steven is kicking that guys ass (You know the one I'm talking about), I think that the right-left combo he put on that man was meant to symbolize the turbid realities of Mr. Segal's soul. The "seven"-ish moments that were mentioned were obviously a way for the writer of this film to release a little bit of tension once he realized that he had flushed his whole carrer down the toilet, and that if he had only convinced Morgan Freeman to star opposit Segal, that there would have been one redeeming moment in the film, as it would have been really cool to see that old dude fly out of that building right before it blew up.
