Actually, Prince AKA "The artist formerly known as prince" came up with the idea of semi-authobiographical movies with "Purple Rain" about 20 years before "Glitter". The very fact that an you tried to attribute an intelligent and original concept to mariah carrey that could be predated by PRINCE is sad.
