Semi-Automatic weapons: This is a bloody misnomer; a .45 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) is a semi-automatic weapon; "semi-automatic" is a buzzword/catchphrase that means NOTHING, ultimately-the term most people are fumbling for is PROBABLY more along the lines of "selective-fire" or "fully-automatic"; "semi-automatic" weapons are ones that fire each time the trigger is pulled, ONE SHOT AT A TIME; "selective-fire" weapons allow you to choose between "semi-auto" and "full-auto", that is, ONE shot each time the trigger is pulled, and MANY shots while the trigger is held down; "full-auto"-well, that's self-explanitory; in order to legally own full-auto weapons, you have to spend hundreds of dollars, if not thousands, on an FBI background check, licensing fees, etc., etc., plus the cost of the weapon (which will probably be hundreds of dollars, if not thousands, as well)...ILLEGAL access to weapons are the problem, and lack of respect for the gun is another...
