those bands listed(marilyn manson,korn,rammstein and deftones) are not gothic.goth metal is often mistaken with death metal,which in fact they're very different.in gothic metal,there's a lot of melodies and type stuff about darkness and death(not necesarilly about satan),while death is just heavy distortin with some guys sing as though he has a sore throat.
and as for those two idiots who killed those ppl in colorado,i heard somewhere that the "trenchcoat mafia" that those kids were in were some neo-nazi,gun totting group of vigilantes.total bullshit!!!the media's blowing this out of proportion and we're the one's who are really being affected.i believe that many gothic teens today in the U.S. are being harassed by everyone,including their parents!some are being forced into church,totally being stripped of their rights to believe what want,having the church's beliefs forced on them.this is unjust.
and we all have those dummys from colorado to blame!good thing that they killed themselves.
