Good news - I've just been emailed by Amazon (6/13), letting me know that the Godfather DVD collection is now ready for pre-ordering. It's due out on October 9th, and Amazon wants $79.43 for it, which is supposedly 25% less than the list price of $105.90.
As to whether someone else will have this cheaper, or whether it will be hard to come by once it's released, I can't say -- but at least it's a real date and a real price now. If you want to pre-order, go to this link
