The reason, I believe, why the Godfather has made its long awaited return was because George Lucas was putting the final touches on some of the newly enchanced special effects like the nuclear explosion here and a few Ewoks there, making the entire city looked populated by even more weirdos. Plus, Boba Fett is set to star in the first part as the lowly hitman hired by Don to kill off Luke Skywalker and . . .
I think I should stop for the sake of sanity. I guess if the filmmakers want to rerelease the film then so be it. Personally, the REAL reason for the return is because Hollywood is so creatively drained that they need a reminder of what the hell they're supposed to be doing in the first place which is making good movies like this!
