1) Who is your favorite Greek god / goddess? Egyptian god / goddess? Norse god / goddess? Discworld god / goddess?
<> None. Unless the greeks came up with a god of thrill rides that I don’t know about.
2) Who is your favorite god / goddess from a culture I couldn't think of (give me a break, I practically just got up)?
<> See 1), above.
3) Favorite obscure and/or little-known god / goddess?
<> I’ve always been put off by the fact that humans seem to need the presence of a mystical omniscient omnipotent being to explain the things in life they don’t understand. The “fate” excuse makes me puke every time I hear it.
4) Favorite fictional General?
<> Have you seen my pic? It’s obviously General Mills.
5) Favorite real-life General?
<> General Wesley Clark. I don’t know squat about him except that he plans on running for president. And any general who thinks Bush is an idiot is o.k. in my book. Oh wait. I’m sure they all think he’s an idiot, but the rest of them pretty much keep that to themselves.
6) Which Crankylander would make a good General? A good Specific?
<> TCP. At 6’2”, she is one physically imposing female. She also has that deep, loud, and booming “command voice.”
7) Does this movie really have an intermission or is Cranky bluffing?
<> I don’t plan to find out. I find civil war stuff not involving the Monitor or Merimac boring. I’ll tell you how bad this movie sucks: LRT wants to see it.
.
And in case I don’t post it this Wednesday, let me be the first to wish you a Happy 25th birthday. May your 25th year bring you much of what you wish for, including a flood of traffic to your Web site, and may it help you get over your obsession with the creation of polls.
