I went to the theater and watched this film because I happened to rent Gettysburg one night at the local Blockbuster video store and actually enjoyed it. I don't know what the hell happened but this movie blew donkey balls. FOUR HOURS LONG?!? JESUS! My ass was numb at the end of this piece of trash.
Note to the dumbass who directed this film...I don't need to see Northern soldiers die for 30 straight minutes to realize they are getting there asses kicked. And I don't need to hear speeches that don't add anything to the movie and have nothing to do with the civil war.
They are making a third film about the civil war and I will NOT be anywhere near a theater when it opens.
