I could not have said it better myself. Actually, I did say it months ago but that review has long since been removed.
After I see movies, I am always left leaving with a sense of being raped by Hollywood. I seriously believe that there ought to be a nationwide boycott of Hollywood films so that these idiots will be forced to come up creative and intelligent films to get interest back. Its a sad state of Hollywood when in order to produce money, they break out one of the following cards:
HISTORY BOOK
SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE SKETCH TURNED 2 HOURS LONG
ALIENS CARBON COPY
WAR
NATURAL DISASTER
SHAKESPEARE
VIRTUAL REALITY
FRAT HOUSE GOOFBALL COMEDY
BUDDY COP DUOS
REMAKE AN OLD FILM
STAR WARS CLONE
INTERNET
SEXUAL COMEDY
STEPHEN KING NOVEL
Its inevitable that all producers go to this list and then formulate a movie from it. Spielberg is becoming a master at it now. Schindlers list, Saving Private...etc.
Anyways, if you or anyone else wants a outside of Hollywood and seriously analytical view of cinema, I invite you to read my reviews I post here.
