In addition to Mr. Cranky's list of copy offs: When the helicopters are flying through the city, it looks INCREDIBLY similar to the Death Star trench on Star Wars.
And the computers in the helocopter look similar to the landing approach on 2001: A Space Oddesey.
There's more but I don't have the time to type it right now. But I'm still wondering when these people will stop creating these kind of movies.
