"He would recall stumbling upon orange marshmallow peanuts while brainstorming in supermarket aisles in 1963. About taking them back to the lab, cutting them up and then sprinkling them over Cheerios."
I think there's an important lesson here. As kids, most of us tried some sort of similarly unlikely concoction. If we'd only remembered them we could try marketing them now.
In college, my freshman comp. instructor's son was the guy who created those inexplicably popular Teddy Grahams cookies.
