Well, three or four maybe. They just change the cast and film titles. One good example of a Lifetime archetype film would be the rape revenge film. Another would be the escape and liberation of the abused wife or girlfriend, or maybe the problems of teen pregnancy. The movies seem to have similar titles for some reason. Here are a few real examples:
‘Her Deadly Rival’
‘Married to a Stranger’
‘Fatal Desire’
‘Mom at Sixteen’
‘Her Fatal Flaw’
‘Her Perfect Spouse’
‘My Daughter’s Secret’
‘Fighting for my Daughter’
‘Her Desperate Choice’
‘Fatal Trust’
‘Fatal Reunion’
‘Fifteen and Pregnant’
However, movies made specifically for guys are hardly any better. How many times has this film been made: the best buddy/partner/(sometimes) wife/girlfriend of a rebellious loner cop/detective/agent gets murdered and the hero goes on a rampage to avenge his friend/SO. And if he is a cop or something similar, he will get yelled at and suspended at some point. And speaking of similar-sounding titles, consider these titles of films, courtesy of Steven Seagal and Jean-Claude Van Damme:
Sudden Death
Wake of Death
Hard Target
Out for a Kill
Marked for Death
Above the Law
Hard to Kill
Out for Justice
On Deadly Ground
