Oh, right that's snow... I think I remember snow...
I wonder if people 100 years from now will know what snow is. I was reading something about previous warming periods, during the last one it was 43C (110F) in the Artic Ocean! Crocodile fossils have been found all the way up there dating from this time period.
So even if we've accelerated the next warming period, it would have come along eventually. Unfortunately most of our planet will become an uninhabitable desert, but then a period of cooling (probably an ice age) will reset the planet. Of course this takes thousands of years but humans (or something like us) were around during the last ice age, so it's not likely that we will die off.
