"The solution to fixing Social Security is one sentence long and most rational Americans know what it is: Raise the retirement age."
So I added:
.... or raise the Social Security tax. Or have every person
(not just the under $90K crowd) chip into Social Security.
Or even a combination of those three answers.
See, it doesn't take a mathematician to fix this problem. Even Bush recently admitted that "private accounts are not a permanent fix" for the Social Security "crisis".
At least, as much of a crisis, that it tries to swerve our attention from REAL crises. Like the loss of health care (50% of Americans... and climbing), and the job woes many still are feeling.
Oh yeah, stay the course. Drive off the cliff, the ride gets better when we hit the ground. Trust me. :P
