Based on urban legends that I can't substantiate.
I'm amused anyone mentions wind power, since anytime anyone proposes wind generators, there's a backlash because they ruin the view, or kill birds or bats or some shit. If someone ran into a giant moving fan you'd make fun of them "Darwin Awards" as the need-to-smarter-than-others crowd call them. Birds fly into a giant fan, and it's soooooooo sad.
