i am suprised you dont remember..but i thought it was you..maybe i'm crazy..it was right after the tsunami..someone had mentioned why some Objectivists were a bunch of jerks for not wanting to help out..i think it was a passage that someone else had written actually..about how the US government spends too much on charity cases and special interests..there was a passage on how Daniel Boone.. (or Davy Crockett..i always get them confused) stood up in congress and said how the government shouldnt pay compensation to this war widow (then proceeded to help her out of his own pocket) and how constitutionally we cannot be obliged to assist people..then FDR came in and turned america pinko red with the new deal....then the floodgates were opened...etc etc (only it was much much more convincing and eloquent than that)
i would just like to remember the movie..it was like 3 or 4 weeks ago..so i could copy the article cuz it was quite well written..
