08/08/07: To libs and cons alike, we have a dollar problem

Look, this is not to start an arguement, its simply a warning. China holds about a trillion dollars in US securities, T bills and such, and have just threatened again to begin dumping them unless we drop this talk of a trade war with them. If they dump those dollars in a bloc we are well and truly fucked. It WILL destroy the US dollar. I have already bought some silver and gold, as a hedge and as insurance, I suggest you all deversify your holdings a bit and keep an eye on this. It could get reaaaaallllllll ugly here. Once again, not trying to cause a ruckus, just be aware of whats going on.
