icky, its not 1964. Heck its not even 1974. We are not the only massive economy on the earth anymore. The EU is closing fast, japan is huge, china and india are industrializing at a massive rate and making a middle class to dwarf ours. China is a dictatorship, run by the military as it has been since 1949, actually since about 1922. Anyhoo there are lots of places willing and able to buy those chinese goods. The friendly folks in bejing hold a gun to our heads economically, they might get some brains on their suits if they pull the trigger but we will have our head splattered against the wall economically if they do. I'm saying that they are wayyy more serious than you give them credit. I'm still buying some more silver and gold this weekend. RUN AWAY!
