How many of us know someone who is highly intelligent but is a social retard? OK. Now how many of these "highly intelligent social retards" occupy positions of great power and influence?
The correct answer is none or very few.
It doesn't matter how smart you are, how high your IQ is or if your judgement is "right" 100 times out of 100. If you have the personality of an @sshole, that's all other people will see and you'll never get anywhere.
House is a myth. Just like Jack Nicholson in "As Good As It Gets" is a myth: chicks don't dig ugly, @ssholes.
Why? Because no one wants to waste half their life peeling back layers to find out whether or not the alleged @sshole really has a heart of gold or is a just a plain straight forward m*therf*cker.
It's a lot easier to just say "He/she's an @sshole" and move on and associate with other people who have got their mental sh!t together in their heads.
