While I agree with you that the death penalty should be abolished, and even if it isn't, it should be illegal to execute mentally challenged people, your "puppies peeing on the floor" metaphor makes you sound completely uncredible. I like your other points, for the most part; however, peeing and killing someone are two entirely different things and I think it's bogus that you would even consider comparing the two.
