That dialogue you singled out is horrible!
When I saw American Gangster, there was a lady in front of us who was waiting to see this movie and she wouldn't stop blabbing about it. She overheard me talking to my wife about how I had seen Harry Potter and Pirates DVDs on the street a week before their release and she went into this rant about a conspiracy to ruin Into the Wild by pirating it and putting it on the internet. According to her, "people in Washington" didn't want anyone to see this movie. Not sure how putting copies of a movie all over the internet would prevent people from seeing it exactly. I like crazy people, as long as they're unarmed and smaller than me. Maybe she'll go to Alaska too.
Nice review Dan. This movie sounds completely idiotic.
