First, my mom said that Joel said that "since he wasn't nominated..." If he had been nominated, I assume he would have forced himself to go. Being a slightly agoraphobic person, I can understand that. If I had to be there, I would. If not, I might not. However, I understand "office politics", so I probably would have gone. But, Leo's new to this and I think he made a mistake. I won't brand him as stuck up or whatever for that.
And it doesn't change that he's cute. I never said I wanted to marry the man! :)
